Mission Statement
Our mission, as disciples of Jesus Christ, is to use the tools and training God has provided for us to "go into all the world", whether by internet or physical presence, and minister the Gospel of peace, healing, and salvation through Jesus Christ to all whom He places within our influence.
Statement of Faith
The Holy Scriptures
The Holy Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of the living God; verbally inspired by God and the complete and sufficient revelation of His will for man's salvation and conduct.
The Eternal Godhead
There is one true living God who was and is and is to come. He is infinitely holy, mighty, tender, loving and glorious; worthy of all love and honor, confidence and obedience, majesty, dominion and might, both now and forever. In the unity of the Godhead there are three divinely equal but distinct persons in executing the great work of redemption:
- The Father, whose glory is so exceedingly bright that mortal man cannot look upon His face and live, but whose heart is so filled with love for His lost and sin-benighted children that He freely gave His only begotten Son to redeem and reconcile them unto Himself.
- The Son, Jesus the Christ, is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven.
- The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, the Spirit of the Father shed abroad, omnipotent, omnipresent, performing an inexpressibly important mission upon earth, convicting of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, drawing sinners to the Savior, rebuking, pleading, searching, comforting, guiding, quickening, teaching, glorifying, and baptizing with power from on high those who yield to His ministrations.
The Plan of Redemption
Man was originally created in the image of God, but through disobedience he incurred both physical and spiritual death; that we are all born with a sinful nature, separated from God. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us, the Just for the unjust; freely taking the sinner's place, bearing our sins, receiving our condemnation, dying our death, fully paying our penalty, and signing with His life's blood the pardon for all who would believe upon (put their faith in) Him.
Salvation through Grace
We are saved only through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. Salvation is wholly through grace alone; we have no righteousness or goodness of our own, and must come, submitting ourselves to the unfailing mercy and love of Him who bought us and washed us in His own blood; pleading the merits and the righteousness of Christ the Savior; standing upon His Word and accepting the free gift of love and pardon.
The Second Coming of Christ
Just as Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled every prophecy concerning His first coming, He will come again to receive His own unto Himself, to rid the world of sin and death, and to set up His righteous rule. This is our blessed hope and serves as an incentive for holy living and faithful service.
The Judgment
The dead, both small and great, shall be raised up and stand with the living before the judgment seat of God; and then a solemn separation shall take place wherein those who have accepted Christ as Savior will be adjudged to everlasting life (John 3:16) and those who have rejected God's free gift of salvation through Christ will be separated unto everlasting death (John 3:16). This judgment will fix forever the final state of humankind on principles of righteousness as set forth in God's Holy Word. |
