Unselfishness

I finally got it figured out
It all comes down to this:
The biggest foe we’ll ever know
Is our own selfishness.

So yellow, red, black and white,
I have found a way
To conquer me-first attitudes
Before the Judgment Day.

I found someone who always gives;
Unselfish, pure and true.
He walks by faith and not by sight
Like we’re supposed to do.

He conquered me-first attitudes,
Passing every test,
And said that we could do the same
Through His unselfishness.

So let me introduce you to
The truth, the Life, the Way:
Jesus Christ, God’s only Son;
Let’s follow Him today!
